Dr. (Col) Rajeev Sood has more than 23 years of distinguished services with the Armed Forces and more than 15 years of super specialization in urology. A graduate of the ’76 batch of the Armed Forces Medical College, he is a Gold medalist through MBBS, MS and MCh. As a surgeon, he was awarded the Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of India for performance beyond the call of duty. Dr Sood is a kidney transplant surgeon with more than 500 transplants to his credit. He has been a faculty at various urology operative workshops organized by the Urologic Society of India. He is currently working as Sr. Consultant Urology and Renal transplantation with Max Health Care group of Hospitals, Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute, and also as the chief urologist at the Medical Point urology laser institute, New Delhi. Dr. Rajeev Sood has been with Faith Foundation since its inception and he is responsible for the medical facilities at Faith Foundation. He conducts regular (twice every month) medical camps at the Faith class looking after general and specialized health checkups for the children. Dr. Sood is also instrumental in involving his colleagues from the medical fraternity to take care of specialized care of the children and their families as and when required.
Mr. Subhadip Saha, born in 1973, he graduated in Electronics and Telecom Engineering in 1994. He has worked in various functions in the telecom industry since the beginning of his career. In his current assignment with GemPlus India, a French Multinational he is working as the Vice President – Sales for the companies SAARC operations. He joined hands with Faith foundation in July of 2004 and has since been actively involved in the day-to-day working of the organisation. It is his emphasis to work at the grass root level with the kids and attempt to take them one step ahead in life not only economically but also socially. |
Ms. Bishalakhi Ghosh comes with 14 years of work experience in the field of Marketing and Communications. She has a degree in English from the University of Calcutta and a Post Graduation in Marketing from Annamalai University. She has worked across service sectors, with a specialization in IT/Telecom marketing and pubic relations. Currently she is working with Alcatel-Lucent in External Communications. During late 2003 she started Faith Foundation as a small effort to give back something to the society for social service. Faith Foundation started with a group of 7 children and has since grown to educate about 75 children. Most of them come from backgrounds of rag picking. It is her endeavor to try to give a better life to these kids, not only in education, but trying to give them a vocation which will help elevate them from their current social standing.
